Services for Melva Dean Chenevert will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church, 714 Winn Street, Alexandria, LA. Interment will be in New Morning Glory Cemetery, Ruby, LA.

Ms. Chenevert, 80, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on July 16, 2022, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents: Moses Chenevert & Alberta Jackson Chenevert, sister: Lydia Chenevert-Porter, and brother: Moses N. Chenevert.

Melva leaves to cherish her memories – Ruby Jean Chenevert and Bennie Chenevert-Dunbar, and brother: Charles R. Chenevert.
