Michelle Franklin Strong


Services for Michelle Franklin Strong will be at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at New Bethel Community Baptist Church. Rev. Clarence Dupar will be officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.


Mrs. Strong, 46, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on January 19, 2021 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.


Michelle was born October 22, 1974 in Pineville, LA to Lois Franklin Miller and the late Morgan Miller, III. She was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend J.T. Slatten, at New Jerusalem Baptist church. Later in her life, Michelle became a faithful member of New Bethel community Baptist Church where she served as a member of the praise team, mission, and choir.


Michelle was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a smile that could light the room and a contagious laugh. Michelle symbolized courage, hope, strength, and faith. In her leisure she enjoyed reading, laughing, dancing, spending time with her best friend/husband, and in her words “looking cute”. Michelle loved her family and friends, and she touched the hearts of many.


Michelle was preceded in death by her father Morgan Miller, III, maternal grandparents: Ida and Eugene Franklin, Sr., and paternal grandparents: Mary and Morgan Miller, II.


Michelle’s memories will always be cherished by her loving and devoted husband, Roy Strong and son Ken’Darius Franklin (Courtney), mother Lois Franklin Miller, sister, Traci Miller-Earl (Patrick), two brother Travius Miller (Danielle) and Trodale Perry Sr, niece Khari Earl, two nephews Karsen Earl and Prince Miller, aunts Lair Polk, Hannah Davis, Lue Ida Gordon, Sandra Stokes, and Anita Minton, uncle Ezekiel Franklin, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
