Mitchell Augustin, Sr.

Services for Mitchell Augustine Sr. will be at 10 a.m. on Sat. March 18, 2023 at New Morning Glory Baptist Church with Pastor P.H. Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery, under direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mr. Mitchell R. Augustine Sr. age 70 of Pineville, La entered eternal on March 10, 2023 at his residence.

Mitchell was a devout Christian. He served as deacon at New Morning Glory Baptist Church. He was married for 49 years to Virgia Augustine.

Mitchell is preceded in death by Father John Hillary Augustine. He is survived by his loving wife Virgia Augustine, three daughters: Shasha Lamell, Shequanda Young, Shoneque Augustine, two sons; Birtrell R. Augustine, Mitchell Augustine Jr., mother Ruby Lee Augustine, two brothers; Chris Augustine and Hubert Augustine, three sisters; Wilma Jean Hudson, Pauline Augustine, and Lawanda Augustine, along with eight grandchildren.
