Services for Mr. Jessie J. Joseph AKA "Dr. Nut" will be at 12:00p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at New Scott Olly Baptist Church. Pastor Luerinza Dearborne, II will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.
Mr. Joseph, 72, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on July 6, 2018 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Jessie accepted Christ at a early age. He was one of the first DJ in Alexandria. He worked for Coca Cola until retirement. He met and married Yvonne, they were together for 40 years.
Bernard is preceded in death by his mother: Lucille Jones, father: Lavert Joseph, brother: Lee Andrew Joseph, sons: Lee Arthur Joseph and Patrick Simon.
Dr. Nut is survived by his wife: Yvonne Byrd Joseph, daughters: Rita Byrd, Debra Thomas, Lashonda Marshall, and Shari Howard, sons: Harrison Garrison, Horsac Byrd, Jessie Simon, Micheal Joseph, Clinton Anderson, Jr, Henry Byrd, Jerry Lee Joseph, Sr., and Donald Collins.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
