Services for Nettie Jean Sykes will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Hopewell Baptist Church, 1100 Graham Street, Colfax, LA. Rev. Marc James will be officiating. Interment will be in Farenzie Cemetery.

Mrs. Sykes, 77, of Colfax, LA, passed away on May 3, 2024, at her daughter’s residence, Pineville, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband: Jimmie Sykes, son: Darin Wayne Sykes, Sr., and parents: Anderson & Georgia Ford.

Nettie leaves to cherish her memories – daughters: Debra Lavalais, Stacy Felton, and Leola Frazier, sisters: Mary Ford, and Berta Lilly, along with 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
