Services for Norma Jean McNeal will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Beulah Baptist Church, Lecompte, LA. Pastor Terry Kirk will be officiating. Interment will be in Bayou Clear Cemetery, Woodworth, LA.
Norma Jean McNeal was born on April 22, 1956, to the late Frank and Eloise Scott McNeal in Pineville, LA. She transitioned on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the residence where she lived with her oldest sister, Joyce A. McNeal of Woodworth, LA. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Theodore Simon.
Norma, age 65, was a sweet & loving person. She loved to give hugs and kisses, standing up for giving God praise, clapping her hands and dancing for God. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eloise Scott McNeal, (1) sister, Wanda S. McNeal Armstrong, (6) brothers, Odell McNeal, Sr., Clyde McNeal, Sr., Rodney McNeal, Jerry McNeal, Sr., Luther McNeal, Elijah McNeal.
Norma leaves to cherish her loving memories: (5) sisters, Joyce A. McNeal Holbert, Verna M. McNeal Gayten (Raymond), Audrey M. McNeal Sneed, Elaine F. McNeal Anderson (Roosevelt), all of Woodworth, LA., Patricia A. McNeal Marves of Alexandria, LA, (3) brothers, Antonio McNeal (Sheila), John McNeal (Linda), Bobby McNeal (Katherine), (1) sister in law, Lois McNeal, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
