Services for Ociedrick Lenard Charles will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Christian Outreach Center, 106 Brickyard Road, Natchitoches, LA. Rev. Ocie Lee Charles, Jr. will be officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Bermuda, LA.
Ociedrick Charles was born on October 9, 1975 in Pineville, LA to the late John Carter and Cynthia Charles. He attended Natchitoches Central High School, where he obtained his high school diploma in 1993.
Ociedrick was a gifted, talented, smart, loving son, brother, grandson, and father. He is preceded in death by his father: John Carter, mother: Cynthia Ann Charles, grandfather: Ocie Lee Charles, Sr., grandmother: Orelia J. Carter, and grandfather: John L. Carter, Sr. Ociedrick Charles, 48, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away on July 4, 2024, at East Jefferson General Hospital.
He leaves behind his most prized possession his daughter: Zariah Jenay Charles (his “Doodle Bug”, grandmother: Elvin Sue Charles, sisters: LaRonda Braggs (Steven), Shaneka Charles, Shareka Charles, Clarissa Smith (Billy), Andrea Thomas (Jacob), Shari Davidson (Jeremy) (bonus sibling), Tammy Merridth (Henry)(Godsister), brothers: Carlos Charles (Katrina), DeMario Charles (LaWanna), uncles and aunts: Dollie Mahoney (Joe), Tony Charles, Ocie Charles (Frankie), Bridget Gillie (Albert), Joyce Ballet (Raymond), Robert Carter, Sr. (Michelle), Glen Edward (Tonya), Annie Bell Hicks, and a host of nieces, nephews, great uncles, aunts, and cousins.
