Viewing services for Pastor Emeritus Cilton Williams, Sr. will be from 5-7:00p.m. on July 24, 2020 at Refuge Church of Our Lord of the Apostolic Faith Church, 3201 Monroe Street, Alexandria, LA. Bishop David Veal, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Spring Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery, Goudeau, LA.


Mr. Williams, 88, of Lecompte, LA, passed away on July 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born on July 16, 1932 in Goudeau, LA, to the union of Rial Williams & Marine Berry Williams. He began preaching the Gospel at 19 years old and did so for over 61 years. Pastor Williams was the Founder & Pastor of Bibleway Apostolic Holiness Church of Melville, LA for 37 years. He served as Pastor in numerous locations such as Alexandria, LA, Lake Charles, LA, Melville, LA, and Big Cane, LA.


Pastor Williams is preceded in death by his parents: Rial & Marine Berry Williams, wife: Shirley Mae Lavergne Williams, brothers: Clarence Williams, Sr., Sulivan Williams, David Williams, James Williams, and Robert Williams, sisters: Rachel Stafford, Blanche Williams, Leona Williams, Lou Tyson, and Lillie Williams.


Pastor Williams leaves to cherish his memories – sons: Cilton Williams, Jr., Don Williams, Kenneth Williams, and Patrick Williams, daughters: Leona W. Smith, Sharon K. Veal, and Patricia Covington, step children: Lejenna Hogans, Jacqueline Hogans, Charles Hogans, and Anthony Hogans, along with 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
