Services for Roger Glen Bowman will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Neal will be officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise Cemetery, Woodworth, LA.


Mr. Bowman, 70, of Alexandria, LA, passed away August 3, 2024, at Naomi Heights Nursing Home, Alexandria, LA. Roger was known as a well-known mechanic in the community and surrounding areas. Always willing to lend a helping hand. He served as an Usher at First St. Mark Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father: Glasper Bowman, Sr., paternal and maternal grandparents, uncle: Arthur Bell.


Roger leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Brenda Bowman and daughters: Kimberly Nash and Stacey N. Harrell.
