Schekila Williams

Services for Schekila Shontae Williams will be at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 320 Daspit Street. Rev. Ronnie L. Humphrey, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in New Morning Glory Baptist Church Family Cemetery, Pineville, LA.

Ms. Williams, 46, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on July 29, 2025, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Shontae enjoyed cooking, decorating seasonally and doing hair. Shontae also enjoyed her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father: Glenn Boss, her maternal grandparents: Altnette “Granny” and Willie “Jake” Frank Williams; and her paternal grandparents: Ivory and Silverene Boss, her great grandparents: Joe McCray, Jr. and Corrine Effie Coleman.

Schekila leaves to cherish her memories – her three faithful and loving daughters: Jay’Shree Shontell Perry, Ar’Dashja Germaine Williams and Zy’Karia Charday Williams, mother: Patricia Ann Williams, brothers: Patrick James Williams, Sr.(Jaz) and Tadraine Jamal Williams (Laura), sister: Brittany Boss, a special aunt: Angela “Nannie” Flagg, two God children: Sterling J. Brown, Jr. and Jakari Brown, a special friend of over 30 years: Jason Aaron Perry, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
