Services for Shawn Brown Harris will be at 11:00a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 5605 Old Boyce Road, Boyce, LA. Rev. Joe Green will be officiating. Interment will be in Oak Island Cemetery.

Mrs. Harris, 53, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on October 1, 209 at her home. She was a dedicated caregiver at Rapides Regional, CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini, & Evergreen. She started working at an early age up until her illness. Shawn is preceded in death by her mother: Mary Jane Brown, grandson: Jean Rinago Brown, grandmother: Ethel Mae Brown, and grandfather: Willie Brown, Sr.

Shawn leaves to cherish her memories – her husband: George Harris, daughter: Tarneisha Brown, sons: Jean Pierre Brown and Brandon Brown, father: Willie Fred Brown, Jr., brothers: Shane Brown, Mark A. Brown, and Darryl J. Brown, sisters: Pascale Petty, Mentral (Nikki) Brown, and Pascale Brown, and her grandchildren: Sean Brown, Tyanna Brown, Tyree McQuain, Sierra Molette, Shaniya Jenkins, DeShawn Griffin, Brandy Brown, Brianna Brown, Aurbreii Crews, Kasside Green, Kevin Green, Jr., and A’zira Bennett.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church.
