Sherry Jan Rosenthal was born to Johnny Mack Brown and the late Ophelia Green Bayonne on July 1, 1965 in Pineville, Louisiana. Sherry accepted Christ and demonstrated her belief by way of water-baptism at an early age.

She embraced her life as a loving mother and a faithful wife of forty years. Sister Sherry, as she affectionately known as by her church family, was a dedicated member of the Second New Light Baptist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana. There, she served faithfully in the M.P.E.C. Ministry.

Sherry was a graduate of Alexandria Senior High School in Alexandria, Louisiana. Following high school, Sherry became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked in many health facilities, providing high quality healthcare services. Sherry was last employed at CHRISTUS Saint Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. She gained many friendships and loved her patients. In her personal time, she enjoyed arching eyebrows and raising some of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ophelia Green Bayonne, and step-father, Jimmie Ray Bayonne; as well as her nephew, Rodriguez Brown.

Our beloved Sister Sherry leaves to mourn her homegoing, yet cherish her memory, her husband, Taylor Donnell Rosenthal, Sr.; two sons, Taylor Donnell Rosenthal, Jr. and Donterrious Rosenthal of Alexandria, Louisiana; a granddaughter, Madison Elaine Rosenthal; her father, Johnny Mack Brown; five sisters, Geneva Darlene Hayes, Sue Mae Bayonne, Katrina Johnson, Michelle Brown, and Kedra Davis; three brothers, Johnny Mack Brown, Jr. (Stephanie), Calvin Brown, and John Johnson; and a host of brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
