Services for Shirley Cannon Hayes will be at 11:00am on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church, 2705 Wise street, Alexandria, LA. Rev. C. Reed will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Shirley Cannon Hayes, 76, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on January 2, 2026, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Emanuel Hayes, father: Albert Cannon,daughter:Jean Cannon, mother: Edith Cannon, brothers: Albert Cannon, Jr. and Thomas James, Sr., sisters: Barbara Faye Thompson.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memories-daughters: Rechelle Hayes Washington and TeErica Hayes, sons: Tryone Cannon and Emanuel Hayes, III, sisters: Elaine Cooper, Diane Cannon, Christine Jacobs, and Cathy Wilson, along with 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am at Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church.
