Services for Sylvest Davion will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Union Cemetery, Colfax, LA. Reverend Roosevelt Lair will be officiating.
Mr. Davion, 52, of Colfax, LA, passed away on August 31, 2020 at his home in Colfax, LA. Sylvest was born to Mr. Leo Davion, Jr., and Carrie Mae Sykes Davion on January 17, 1968. He joined the Mt. Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age. He was educated in Grand Parish School System. Sylvest was a hard worker. He cleaned cars and made them look brand new. He was also employed with the Town of Colfax. Sylvest is preceded in death by his parents: Leo & Carrie Davion, two brothers: Leo Davion, III, and Dexter Davion, one sister: Sandra Denise Davion.
Sylvest leaves to cherish his memories: common law wife: Kenyatta Watkins, daughter: SyTerica Gray, sons: Damien Green, Edmond Williams, and Donovan Gray, sister: Karen Layton, and 2 grandchildren.
