Services for Thedah J. Young will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Hopewell Baptist Church. Rev. Earl D. Young, sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Farenzie Cemetery, Colfax, LA.
Ms. Young, 71, of Colfax, LA, passed away on January 8, 2026, at her residence. She is preceded in death by her mother: Thelma Brew Young, father: Joseph Young, son: Ben A. Young, sister: Diane Young Edwards, brothers: Sammie L. Young, Joe Ray Young, Sr., and Chris Young.
Thedah leaves to cherish her memories – daughter: LaKeisha Young-brown, sons: Dexter M. Young and Deon S. Young, brothers: Rev. Eutis Young and Rev. Earl D. Young, Sr., sisters: Katie B. Young-Edwards, Doris Josiah, Audrey Young, and Gaynell Thompson, along with 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at the church.
