Services for Vickie Carter will be at 11:00am on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Second Evergreen Baptist Church, 2314 Wise Street, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Thomas Sands will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Carter, 76, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on March 24, 2022, at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Hines and Helen Briggs Hines, husband: Solomon Smith, Sr. and Eddie Gene Carter.

Vickie leaves to cherish her memories – sons: Keith A. Smith and Solomon Smith, Jr., special niece: Wanda Wright, brothers: Tomas Hines, Jr and James Hines, sisters: Beatrice LeDuff, Eloise Ball, and Dorothy Dearbone, grandchildren: Victoria Smith and Mia Smith.
