Walter Geystand, Sr.

Services for Walter Geystand, Sr. will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Union Chapel Baptist Church, Lecompte, LA. beginning at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ananis Robinson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and continue until start of service. Interment will be held in Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Service.

Mr. Geystand passed away April 1, 2024. Walter leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Wanda Jean Tipton and Tonya LaTrease Gains; grandchildren, Santana Lawon Forney, George Tipton, IV, Geonna Lawon Tipton, Ke’Shun Geystand, Kaden Geystand and Jayden Gains; great grandchildren, Da’Marcus Ramon Forney, Jr. and Da’Kari Rajon Forney; one sister, Bertha Walker and a host of relatives and friends.
