Mr. Lewis passed away on April 22, 2021 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. He is preceded in death by his father: Ernest Mitchell, mother: Gussie Mae Batiste, brothers: Charles Batiste, Frank Arthur, Bill Mitchell, & Clyde Mitchell.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Rose Kelly Lewis, daughters: Lakeitha Lewis, Natasha Goston, Amy Cross, and Tiffany Kelly, sons: Derrick Mitchell, Tyrone Hicks, Jimmy Carter, Willie Grisby, Cadarius Lewis, brother: George Arthur, and sister Glenda Johnson, along with 28 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
