Services for Willie F. Hughes will be at 11 a.m. on July 1, 2023, at Reach Assembly of God, with Eld Leon Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, under direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.
Mr. Willie F. Hughes Sr., age 79 of Alexandria, La, entered eternal rest on June 19, 2023, at Regency House.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Walter Hughes Sr, and Elnora Hadnot Hughes, brothers; Frank, Walter, Henry, Ike Hughes, sisters: Cornelia H. Surgent, and Elnora H. Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hughes, one daughter Marcelle Rhines, 2 sons Willie Hughes and Derrick Wright, one brother, James Hughes, three sisters; Queen E, Hughes, Sarah Harper, and Mary Blade, along with seven grandchildren, eleven great-grand and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
