Services for Willie James Hamilton will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 410 Solomon Street, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Tom Hamilton, Jr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, LA.

Mr. Hamilton, 68, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on October 22, 2024, at Ochsner Medical

Center, New Orleans, LA. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce with 6 years of service. He

worked for the VA Medical Center Hospital in Pineville, LA, The United States Postal Service,

and a self employed Cement Finisher.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents: Sarah Maltie Hamilton and Banks Jones, 4 sisters:

Clara Baines, Lillian Caples, Freda Olds, and Dorothy Maltie, 3 brothers: William “Bo” Hamilton, Clifton Ray Maltie, and Charles Maltie.

He leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Esther R. Hamilton, brothers: Rev. Tom Hamilton, Jr. and Larry Hamilton, and sister: Beatrice Maltie.

Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
