Services for Alfred J. “AJ” Howard, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Daughter of Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Willie Sewell, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Daughter of Zion Cemetery.

Mr. Howard, 84, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on May 17, 2021 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Alfred Howard, Sr. and Mrs. Annie B. Howard, brothers: Alfred Howard, Jr. (Jermaine) and David Howard.

Alfred leaves to cherish his memories – daughters: Marilyn Hamlin, Carolyn Howard, Keila Piper, and Vanessa Piper, son: Alfred Howard, Jr. (Karina), brothers: Oscar Howard, Rev. Larry Howard, Rufus Howard (Janice), and Rev. Lonnie Howard (Dawn), sisters: Gladys Pearson (Rev. James, Sr.), Catherine Redmond (David), Rosemary Howard, and Cynthia Howard, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Viewing will begin at 9:00a.m. at Daughter of Zion Baptist Church.
