Services for Andrew Ballott, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Timothy Baptist Church, 2907 9th Street, Alexandria, LA. Pastor Rodney C. Jones will be officiating. Interment will be in Timothy Baptist Church Cemetery, Latanier, LA.
Mr. Ballott, 79, of Alexandria, LA passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Christus St Frances Cabrini Hospital. He is preceded in death by his father: Andrew Ballott, Sr., mother: Lilly (Burks) Ballott, son: Cory Demond Ballott, grandson: Ronald Charles Allen, sister: Vera Jean Ballott.
Andrew leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Willie Ruth (Jackson) Ballott, daughter: Robin Caprice Jackson, sons: Eric Ballott (Sandy Arruda Ballott) and Kerry Allen, sister: Daisy (Ballott) Jackson, grandchildren: Karlinda, Queenisha, Darius, Jazmine, Tenita, Terricka, Erica, and Eric, Jr., several great grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
Andrew Ballott, Jr. was affectionately known to is family as “Jr” was a devoted husband and great grandfather and a cherished friend to many. He was known for is gift of gab, Jr. could talk to just about anyone – and often did. He had a warm, open spirit and never hesitated to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need. His heart was as big as his personality, and his presence was a comforting constant in the lives of many. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Jr. carried the values of service and loyalty with him throughout his life. He was also a skilled handyman who loved to build and fix thing. Jr. was a passionate sports fan, never missing a chance to cheer on his beloved Saints or Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed spending time watching game shows and sharing his opinions on everything from touchdowns to trivia.
Deeply rooted in his faith, Jr. was an active member of Timothy Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as a Sunday School Teacher. His dedication to his church community reflected his lifelong commitment to love, service, and faith.
His memory will forever remain a source of strength, laughter, and love for all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
