Services for Beauker “Bear” Honore, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at New Scott Olly Baptist Church. Bishop Lynell Smith will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.
Mr. Honore, 77, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on January 16, 2021 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Mr. Beauker Honore was born December 16, 1943 in Pineville, LA. He accepted Christ at an early age at Pleasant Green Baptist Church. He received his formal education in the Rapides Parish School System. Beauker worked for Plantation Manor, working in the community doing odd jobs. He also worked for CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital where he retired after 25 years. Beauker is preceded in death by his parents: Beauker Honore, Sr & Fannie Mae Clark Honore, three brothers: Davidson, Fred Clark (God Brother), and Leonard Honore, two sisters: Audrey Creath & Earlene Honore, son: Courtney Honore, and also Demarcus Stafford.
He was united in holy matrimony to Charlotte Stafford Honore on June 4, 1972. To this union two children were born-Catina and Courtney Honore.
Beauker leaves to cherish his memories- wife of 47 years: Charlotte Stanford Honore, daughter: Catina Honore, four grandchildren; Charneice Worthy, Arthur Veal, Alexsia Honore, and Evontrea General, three sisters: Mary Louise Taylor, Helen Price, and Patricia (Burnice) Bolen, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The Sonia Quarters & Samtown Legendary Legend loved his front porch. Never met a stranger, kept a smile, and loved the life he lived.
