Services for Clinton Dequincy Wright, Jr. will be at 12:00pm on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Mount Herman Baptist Church, Lena, LA. Pastor Doug Randle will be officiating. Interment will be in Roadview Cemetery.

Mr. Wright, 70, of Lena, LA/Taylor Hill, passed away on November 17, 2025, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Clinton Dequincy Wright Jr., C.D. Jr (Trucka) was born on January 12, 1955 to the union of Clinton Dequincy Wright Sr., and Vivian Lee Mccoy Wright. At an early age he accepted Christ. He was an active member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church, Lena, Louisiana under the leadership of Pastor Douglas Randle. On November 17, 2025 he departed this life.

Clinton was a formed worker of the Rapides Parish Police Juror where he served as a Deputy Sheriff at Camp Beauregard.

He enjoyed the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, fishermen, he enjoyed his wrestling and karate movies, spending time with his friends and building special bonds with each of his grandkids. He loved to deliver his favorite potato salad and cook his famous fried fish and pecan candy.

He was preceded in death by his father Clinton D. Wright, Sr., Vivian Lee McCoy Wright, Paternal grandmother Louisa Volson Wright, Maternal Grandmother-Octavia D. Smith, Maternal Grandfather Mack Mccoy.

He leaves to cherish his memories a dedicated wife Mattie J. Wright, 3 daughters Candace N. Wright Jacobs, Latoya S. Wright, and Audrianna T. Wright, 2 Brothers Arthur Mack Wright(Veronica) and Frederick Evans, 2 Sisters, Caroline Goudeau and Melissa Evans, along with 6 grandchildren: Kaylin M. Wright, Kaylin E. Wright, Mario D. Jacobs Jr, Kaden D. Wright, Narain J. Jacobs, and Skylar Fontenot and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
