Services for Dorothy Melbert will be at 11:00a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 320 Daspit Street, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Humphrey will be officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise Cemetery.

Mrs. Melbert, 75, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on April 8, 2021 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her mother: Ida Mae Quinney, father: Nedium Quinney, sisters and brothers: Carolyn Vorise, Nedium Quinney, L. G. Calbert, Dave Quinney, Shirley Ray Quinney, Jimmy Quinney, and Glenda Sue Quinney and friend: Jackie Adams.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories – husband: Clarence Melbert, daughters: Gale Gorden and Dorothy Riggs, sons: Clarence Melbert, III, Dennis Melbert, and Kenny Ray Melbert, sister: Willie Lee Howard, and grandchild Phillip Thomas.

Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 320 Daspit Street, Alexandria, LA.
