Services for Elijah McNeal will be at 1:00p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Bayou Clear Cemetery, Woodworth, LA. Pastor Dale Sanders will be officiating.


On Saturday afternoon, December 12, 2020 at 4:30p.m., the Angel of Silence came into his home and sealed the lips of Bro. Elijah McNeal affectionately known as (Joe). Elijah was born on July 13, 1947, to the late Frank McNeal and Eloise Scott McNeal of Woodworth, LA. He was baptized at an early age at New Pilgrim Baptist Church, Woodworth, LA. Elijah went to school at Carter C. Raymond in Lecompte, LA.


Elijah is preceded in death by five (5) brothers: Odell, Clyde, Rodney, Luther, and Jerry, one (1) sister: Wanda McNeal, two (2) brothers in law, two (2) sisters in law.

Elijah leaves to cherish his loving memories – three brothers: Bobby McNeal, Alexandria, LA, John McNeal and Antonio McNeal, Woodworth, LA, six sisters: Joyce McNeal, Norma Jean McNeal, Audrey Sneed, Verna McNeal Gayden (Raymond), Elaine McNeal Anderson (Roosevelt), all of Woodworth, LA, and Patricia McNeal Marves, Alexandria, LA, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 12:00p.m. at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA.
