Emma Lee Blake

Services for Emma Lee Blake will be at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at First Evening Star Baptist church. Rev. Sir Ron Williams will be officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Blake, 83, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on January 1, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family. Emma L. (Helaire) Blake was born the youngest daughter to Emily Hamilton and Ben Helaire on April 10, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Verogers Blake, Sr., five sisters, and three brothers.

Emma leaves to cherish her memories – daughters: Karen Blake and Vanessa Blake, sons: Roderisk Blake and Verogers Blake, Jr., her brother: Edward Helaire, along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
