Gladis Beauregard

Services for Gladis Beauregard will be at 10:00a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Gladis M. (Gladys) Beauregard was born on October 20, 1945, to the union of Warren and Marie Honor. She transitioned to her heavenly home on February 2, 2021 in Natchitoches, LA. She was the third of eight children. She attended school in the Rapides Parish School System.


On January 31, 1962, she married the late Napoleon “Pete” Beauregard. To this union three children were born: Reginald, Angela, and Victoria. On December 22, 1980, she married Earnest Larnett, Jr. and moved to Franklin, LA.


Gladis accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Annadale Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend P.M. Hall. In 1981, she moved to Tracy, California and later relocated to Stockton, California. In Stockton, she joined and became a very active member of The Christian Life Center, under the leadership of Pastors Nathaniel and Kim Haney.


After 39 years in California, she decided to move back to Louisiana to be closer to her children. In July of 2020, she moved to Natchitoches, Louisiana and united with The Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church, under the leadership of Pastor James H. Whitehead. Gladis was a devoted Christian. She loved reading her Bible, she loved people, and she loved her church.


Gladis was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Honor, Sr., and Marie Honor-Shorts; her son, Reginald Beauregard; her granddaughter, Carolyn (Candy) Zone; her great grandson, Jeremy Boyd, and her sister, Carolyn Honor-Monroe.


She leaves to cherish her memories; her two daughters, Angela Clifton (Nicky Ray) and Victoria Beauregard, both of Alexandria, LA, 9 grandchildren, Carlito Beauregard, Sr. (Nicole), of Denver, Co, Markesha Norris and Bobbie Boyd (Jamie) of Stockton, CA, Connie Boyd, of Alexandria, LA, Willie Green and Flint Morgan, of Alexandria, LA, Valarie Green, of Abbeville, LA, Myiesha Beauregard of Mississippi, and 27 great grandchildren.


She is also survived by her aunt – Eleanor Anderson, Alexandria, LA, her siblings – Warren Honor, Jr. (Lee), Hope Mills, NC, Ruby Gallien (Ernest), Nyack, NY, Helen Collins (Walter), Monroe, LA, Minerva Hobdy (Henry), Williamsburg, VA, Patsy Floyd (Americus), Newport News, VA, Eleanor Collins, Alexandria, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
