Ida M. Sargent

Services for Ida M. Sargent will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Rev. Michael Green will be officiating. Interment will be in garden of Memories Cemetery.

Ida M. Sargent was born on July 24, 1939, to Floyd Johnson and Mary Derry in Natchitoches, LA. Ida departed May 17, 2023, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.

Ida accepted Christ at an early age. She was a domestic homemaker. She was also a lovely, caring, and smart woman.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd Johnson an Mary Derry, son: Lonnie Johnson, Sr., three brothers: Floyd Johnson, Milton Johnson, ad Johnnie Johnson, three sisters: Vera Byrd, Olivia Nash and Ivory Jones and one granddaughter.

Ida leaves to cherish her memories – four children: Cullen Wycoff (Pamfila Jentsch-Wycoff), Donald Johnson (Brenda), Bryan Sargent and Tammy Sargent, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
