Jake General, Jr.

Services for Jane General will be at 11:00am on Friday June 3, 2022 at First Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Jake General, Jr. was born to the late Jake “Gentle” General, Sr. and the late Annie Lee Wilkins General on January 25, 1949. He departed this life on May 28, 2022 in his home at the age of 73. Jake leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Brenda J. Holmes General; one devoted daughter, Cathy General of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one son, Jake General,III (Kim) of Alexandria Louisiana; three sisters, Lucy (Stanley) Vital, Ruby Tyler both of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Mary James of Alexandria, Louisiana; one brother, Bobby General and two stepbrothers, Jason and John Stafford, all of Alexandria Louisiana; five grandchildren Desmond General, Brandon (Alexis) General, Joey (Kiara) General all of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Jada and Jake General of Alexandria, Louisiana; eight great grandchildren and a host of relatives friends and his dog Domino. Jake will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
