Josephine M. Jones

Services for Josephine M. Jones will be at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Greater St. Lawrence Baptist Church, 2911 Cypress St., Alexandria, LA. Rev. Roy Lott will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mrs. Jones, 82, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on January 6, 2019 at Golden Age Nursing Home, Jena, LA.

Mrs. Josephine Jones was employed with the CCAC Head Start Program with 50 years combined as a Teacher/Supervisor under the direction of Joann Lee. She loved the friends, staff, and especially the many children she taught.

Josephine is survived by her husband: Willie O'Neal Jones, daughter: Valarie Dotson (Sylvester), son: Rodney Jones, Sr., (Janica), 5 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the church.
