Mrs. Rankin, 72, of Alexandria, LA, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. Mrs. Rankin was born April 7, 1948 in New Orleans, LA. She is preceded in death by her mother; Marion Mae Edward Brown, father: Edward Brown, Jr., son: Michael Edward Ervin, Daughter: Aisha T. Brown-Britton, several brothers and sisters.

Leola leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Rickey Rankin; daughters – Doniel M. Ervin and Soyini Brown Winnier (Darrin), and son Patrick Ervin. Along with 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
