Services for Mattie Mae Early will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4517 MacArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Ms. Early, 73, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on February 15, 2025, at Christus ST. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by Rev. John Early, Sr., parents: Elijah Jackson and Rosetta Jackson, brother: Elijah Jackson, Jr., sister: Dorothy Jackson Griffin and Shirley Lions.

Mattie leaves to cherish her memories – daughter: Felicia Ellis, sons: Eric Christon and Gregory Christon, brothers: Freddie Jackson, David Jackson, and Elbert Jackson, sisters: Gloria Watkins, Helen Hudson, Alfred Lynch, and Vivian Weaver, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
