Services for Vary James Metoyer will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will be in Cloutierville Cemetery, Cloutierville, LA.
Mr. Metoyer, 83, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away on January 28, 2020 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA. He was born July 14, 1936 in Natchitoches, LA. Vary accepted Christ at an early age. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by family and friends. Vary was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Sarpy Metoyer, mother: Alvinita Metoyer, father: Alvin (Habbo) Metoyer, and grandson: Oscar Metoyer. Vary leaves to cherish his memories – daughters: Celine Peterson, Cindy Metoyer, Angela Conday, Alvinita Conday, and Dorothea Metoyer, sons: Fredrick Metoyer, Kenneth Metoyer, and Alvin Metoyer, along with 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. with Rosary following at 10:30a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
