Services for Velma Wilson Bush will be at 11:00am on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 630 Jackson Street, Alexandria, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Velma leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Dolly Gary(Johnnie); one grandson who lives in Chicago, two granddaughters, and four great-great grandchildren. Also, a special friend who was her caregiver, Brenda Gary and special friends, Angel Blue and Patricia Beauregard; a host of family, friends, nieces, nephews and other relatives who loved and will miss her dearly.
