Services for Alfred Dorsey, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, 2611 Overton Street, Alexandria, LA. Pastor Herbert V. Baptiste, Jr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Dorsey, 77, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on August 27, 2019 at Lexington House Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his father: Alfred Dorsey, Sr., his mother: Lena M. Moore Dorsey, his sister: Lena M. Dorsey Mathews, granddaughter: Tamyra Lea Allen Tison, great granddaughter: Genesis Dorsey. Alfred leaves to cherish his memories – daughters: Gwendolyn Dorsey Ray, Jackie Dorsey Grines, and Wyletha Dorsey, brothers: Russell Dorsey, Sr. and Garry Dorsey, sisters: Lorene Bell, Barbara Johnson, and June Cotton, along with 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the church.
