Services for Betty Jean Spurlock will be at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Interment will be in Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery.


Mrs. Spurlock, 70, of Lecompte, LA, passed away on February 20, 2021 at her son’s home in Lecompte, LA. Betty is preceded in death by her mother: Nellie Jean Coutee; father: James Corbit Coutee; husband: Ronnie E. Spurlock, Sr., son: Victor Allen Spurlock, and sister: Mary Coutee Mayeur.


Betty leaves to cherish her memories – daughter: Tonya Spurlock DeSoto, sons: Ronnie E. Spurlock, Jr., David E. Spurlock, and Christopher M. Spurlock, brothers: William Coutee and James Coutee, sisters: Shirley Coutee Marquez, Deborah Coutee Marques, and Janice Coutee Sheperd.
