Services for George Buckner will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Second Union Baptist Church, 6435 Old Baton Rouge Hwy, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Joseph Martin, Jr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.


Mr. Buckner, 87, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on May 18, 2020 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents – George and Rosie Buckner, and grandmother – Nancy Earnest.


George leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Mary Buckner, daughter: Cynthia Buckner Brown, son: George R. Buckner, Sr.

Viewing will begin at 9:00am – 10:45am at Second Union Baptist Church.
