Services for Linda Anderson Lindsey will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church, 217 Pryor Street, Pineville, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsey, 77, of Pineville, LA, passed away on August 15, 2026, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband: Benard R. Lindsey, parents: Sam Anderson, Jr. and Jennie Beauregard Anderson.

Linda was a graduate of Peabody High School class of 1966. She attended Grambling State University. She retired from Pinecrest State School after 20 years of service.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories – daughters: Scheryl A. Gayden and Jennifer R. Lindsey, son: Steve Anderson, son-in-law: W. Kraig Gayden, Sr., brother: Samuel Anderson III, sister: Arlene F. Blade, along with 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was blessed with three grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren through her daughter’s marriage.

Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church.
