Monica LaTrice Green

Services for Monica LaTrice Green will be at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Hamilton will be officiating. Interment will be in Daughter of Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Green, 41, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on June 19, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Monica was 6 years old when she was admitted to Louisiana Special Education Center for 36 years. She worked in the school cafeteria assisted by the staff. She graduated from the center where she continued to stay. Monica was preceded in death by her father: Joseph Holmes, Jr. and stepfather: James Slaughter.

Monica leaves to cherish her memories – mother: Evelyn Richard, brothers: Nathaniel Slaughter and Patrick Slaughter, sisters: Ayana Slaughter, Rachel Hodges, and Patricia Slaughter.
