Services for Robert Louis Edison will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Second Evergreen Baptist Church. Rev. Benny Edison will be officiating. Interment will be in Oak Island Cemetery under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mr. Edison, 62, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on December 5, 2018 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, after a long battle with Liver Disease. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Melvin Batiste and Steve K. Edison, and 1 sister: Frances Campbell.

Robert is survived by his wife: Jacqueline Edison, daughters: Claudine Simmons (Daroin), Nicole McGlory, and Monique McGlory, son: DeQuincey McGlory, mother: Bessie Edison Batiste, brothers: James Edison, Benny Edison, Micheal Edison, Robert Batiste, Micheal Batiste, Bobby Batiste, and Ron Batiste, sisters: Patricia Jacobs, Mary Flemon, and Diane Allen, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the church.
