Services for Ronald Ray Batiste, Sr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Greater Magnolia Baptist Church, 1511 Bringhurst Street, Alexandria, LA. Pastor Chadwick D. Godfrey, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be Garden of Memories Cemetery.


Mr. Batiste, 68, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on August 17, 2024, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Mr. Batiste was a minister under the leadership of Rev. Chadwick D. Godfrey, Pastor. Ronald was a dedicated employee of River City Ready Mix. He is preceded in death by his father: Rev. James Oliver, Sr. (Sandra).


Ronald leaves to cherish his memories – wife of 50 years: Glory Batiste, daughter: Stephanie Batiste Tademy, son: Ronald Ray Batiste, Jr., mother: Velma Batiste, brothers: James Oliver, Jr., Leroy Clark (Mary), Major J. Lusk (Michelle), and Rodney Oliver (Angela), sisters: Belinda Rachel and Shemika McClinton, along with 3 grandchildren: La’Coria, Alexis, and Jasmine, and one great grandchild: Lennoxs Alexander Weber.
