Services for TonJou Smith will be at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Colfax, LA. Father John Brocato will be officiating. Interment will be in Raven Camp Cemetery.
Ms. Smith, 40, of Colfax, LA, passed away on September 25, 2025, at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
TonJou was a graduate of Montgomery High School and continued her education at Grambling State University. She worked for the Grant Parish School System, Louisiana Department of Corrections and Central State Hospital until her health prohibited her to do so.
She is preceded in death by her father: R.T. Smith, Jr. and mother: Florece Coutee.
TonJou leaves to cherish her memories – son: Kennedy Glynn, sister: DaJuanne Hamilton, 2 nieces: Giovanni Jones and Imani Jones and nephew: Donathan Jones.
Visitation will begin at 11:00a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
